They Stumped The Winemaker!
I'm in a wine group that challenges ourselves by pouring concealed bottles. Last meeting a wine came up that I decided in no uncertain terms was surely an Old World Chenin Blanc. Imagine the glee of the guy that knew he poured me a Griffin Hill Chardonnay. I totally flubbed it! The joy in his face was palpable. It was embarrassing. However, it was an amazing thing how tasting one of my wines without the baggage of knowing it was one of mine made it taste different. Moreover, I really liked it. Ya just can't do that on your own.
