A New Rain Water Catchment System

We're always on the lookout for practices that add sustainability to our vineyard. We've begun building a 15,000 gallon system that will give us the ability to irrigate new replacement plantings by re-purposing rain water. Later, the system can be used to supplement the rain the greater vineyards gets during the winter rains to prevent any problems during severe drought years. The tanks and underground pipes are in. The pump, manifold and overflow will be in before the end of the year. This is an exciting project we're looking forward to having the ability to help the vineyard get through a severe drought year without undue stress.
